Well, it has been a while once again since I wrote on here, but things are going great. Adalyn is 9 weeks now and growing faster than ever. She had her 2 month appt. yesterday and I think it was worse for me than her because she got her shots. She was a trouper though and I told her we would go to grandmas after her appt. and she smiled (not sure if she actually knew what I was saying, but she sure acted like it). Some milestones are the sounds and smiles she makes, her cooing, reaching for things (mostly my hair, lol), she is turning into a mommas girl and crying even when her dad holds her (I'm sure she will grow out of that bc Brent is going to be a softy towards her), she is starting to suck her thumb but I am doing my best to stop that, and she sticks her tongue out if you do it to her. There are so many things everyday that she does and I want to remember them all.
Well, I am going back to work officially next week and I know it is going to be hard. It's not that I have to work, but I want to see how it goes because I think it's good for her to socialize with other people and for me to get out. I work around great people and I miss them. My mom, mother in law, and sister are going to be her sitters, so they are people I trust! My schedule isn't too bad either because I only work 30 hours and 2 of the days are in the evening, so Brent will be with her half the time. I think it will be good for her to spend time with her Daddy because she sees a lot more of me than him right now and she needs to get to know him also. So, I know it is going to be difficult, but I am going to take it one day at a time and if it doesn't feel right than I won't do it. I just want the best for her and it will probably be harder for me than her. I will make sure to blog about my first day and hopefully there isn't too much crying:( That's all I have to say for this post because I've got to go love on my babes for these last days we have together to just do nothing but cuddle!!
